This year the World Surfing Championship Tour sees only one new name in the womens pro series – Tatiana Weston-Webb. Aged just 18 she has got off to a great start already with a second place in her first ever heat on the WCT (hey, she was up against the number 3 seed Carissa Moore!). Tatiana was taught to surf by her brother, but it was her mother (a big wave body boarder and Pipeline champion) who has been her biggest influence and inspiration.
“I am really excited to be competing on the CT. This is where it all starts for me. I don’t know my future, I am just more excited to be living my dream, and I am looking forward to how it’s all going to pan out. I feel like this is the beginning of my life.”
