Freshwater West Surf
Freshwater West in Pembrokeshire is an exposed beach and reef break that has dependable surf and can work at any time of the year. Offshore winds blow from the east with some shelter here from south southeast winds. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell angle is from the west. Waves at the beach break both left and right. The quality of the surf isn’t affected by the tide. When it’s working here, it can get crowded. Hazards include rips and rocks.
